This document sets out the binding terms for Drivers, Passengers, Senders and Recipients using the RideUz platform. Please read it in full before using the app — especially Section 2.5 on starting Trips on time, 4.3 on how cancellations are counted, 3.3 on commission, 3.4 on the service fee, and 8.3 on taxes.
General Provisions
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the RideUz mobile application, the rideuz.app website, and related services (the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by an individual entrepreneur (YATT) [full name, tax ID (STIR) and address — to be added after registration], trading under the "RideUz" brand ("RideUz," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating a profile, installing the app, or otherwise using the Platform, you ("User") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all Users — Drivers, Passengers, Senders and Recipients. Parts I–VII apply to all Users; Part VIII applies additionally to Drivers.
"Platform" or "App" means the RideUz software application, website, and related technology, including any updates. "Services" means the trip and parcel search, booking, navigation, communication, and safety functionality made available through the Platform. "Driver" means a natural person who registers on the Platform to offer transportation and/or delivery services using a vehicle they own, lease, or are otherwise legally entitled to operate. "Passenger" means a natural person who registers on the Platform to request transportation and/or delivery services from Drivers.
"Trip" means an intercity journey published by a Driver on the Platform, stating the route, departure date and time, number of free seats, and price per seat. "Booking" means a Passenger's request for one or more seats on a Trip; it takes effect once the Driver confirms it. "Parcel" means an item a Sender hands over through a Driver for delivery to a Recipient. "Sender" means a Passenger who uses the Platform to send a Parcel. "Recipient" means the person a Parcel is delivered to. "Price" means the amount shown in the App and agreed between Users: for a Booking, the per-seat price set by the Driver for the seats booked plus, if the Passenger chose pickup, the pickup fee calculated by the App (Section 2.4); for a Parcel, the price offered by the Sender (no lower than the minimum the App calculates) and accepted by the Driver.
RideUz is a technology platform that connects Drivers, Passengers, and Senders for intercity trips and parcel delivery. Drivers publish their Trips, Passengers book seats on them, and Senders post a Parcel request that Drivers travelling in the right direction can accept. RideUz is not a transportation, courier, or delivery company, does not own any vehicle, and employs no one; the transportation or delivery service is provided by the Driver directly to the Passenger or Sender. Services shown in the App as "coming soon" (such as taxi, tow truck or car carrier) are not offered yet; these Terms will be updated before any of them starts.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, franchise, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between RideUz and any Driver or Passenger.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform; a registration with a date of birth under 18 is refused. One phone number corresponds to one RideUz profile; a profile can hold both the Passenger and Driver roles. Sign-in is confirmed with a one-time code sent by SMS (or via Telegram, where the App offers it); do not share the code with anyone. Sign-in is currently available for phone numbers in Uzbekistan (+998). To protect profiles, the Platform may temporarily stop sending codes to a phone or a number after repeated requests.
At registration you provide your real first name, last name, date of birth, gender, and a photo that clearly shows your face. Before publishing Trips, Drivers are verified with their driving licence, the vehicle's registration certificate (technical passport) and, if the vehicle is not their own, a power of attorney; Trips can only be published on a verified vehicle. A Passenger can apply for the Driver role from their profile; the Driver role becomes available only after the driving licence is approved. Review usually takes about 30 minutes, but this time is not guaranteed.
RideUz processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy at rideuz.app/privacy and the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data". It explains in detail which data is collected, why, how long it is kept, and what other Users can see.
Users must not: provide false identity, vehicle, or payment information; create multiple or fraudulent accounts; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including the transport of prohibited, hazardous, or illegal goods; harass, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger any other User; interfere with the Platform's operation, security, or data (including by scraping, reverse engineering, or manipulating GPS data); or offer or solicit transportation/delivery services outside the Platform in circumvention of applicable fees. RideUz may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of the User's account.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. RideUz does not warrant that the Platform will be free of defects, that any Driver or Passenger will perform as expected, or that any Trip will be completed safely, on time, or at all.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RideUz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or personal or vehicle injury or damage, arising out of or related to (a) any Trip, act, omission, or conduct of a Driver or Passenger, including road accidents, personal injury, property damage, theft, or criminal acts; (b) a Driver's or Passenger's failure to comply with tax, licensing, insurance, or other legal obligations; or (c) use of or inability to use the Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, RideUz's aggregate liability shall be limited to the amount of service fees actually received by RideUz from the User in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RideUz, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your use of the Platform, including, for Drivers, any failure to meet the tax or regulatory obligations described in Section 8.3.
The Platform, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and content, is owned by RideUz or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. RideUz grants Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended personal purpose. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Platform except as permitted by law.
RideUz may suspend or terminate a User's account, immediately and without prior notice in cases of serious or repeated violation of these Terms, safety risk, fraud, or as required by law, and otherwise with reasonable notice. Users may stop using the Platform and request deletion of their account at any time by writing to support at info@rideuz.app or in the support chat in the App, subject to any retention required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the location of RideUz's registered office in Tashkent.
RideUz may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Services or applicable law. Material changes will be notified through the App or by other reasonable means, and continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and RideUz regarding use of the Platform. RideUz's failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Users may not assign their rights under these Terms without RideUz's prior written consent.
These Terms are made available in Uzbek, Russian, and English. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between language versions, the Uzbek-language version shall prevail for legal and regulatory purposes within the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Questions about these Terms may be directed to RideUz support at info@rideuz.app, through the support chat in the App ("Help" for Passengers, "Driver support" for Drivers), or via Telegram at @ride_uz_support_bot.
Trips and Bookings
Drivers publish Trips only on a verified vehicle and state the route, departure time, number of seats, and Price correctly. The destination may be a city (for Tashkent, optionally a district) or a whole region; a Trip to a whole region can be booked by Passengers, and matched with Parcels, going to any city in that region. A Driver can have up to 7 published Trips at a time and one Trip on the same route per day. A Trip that does not take Parcels cannot be published so close to departure that Passengers could no longer book it (Section 2.3).
A Driver is free to confirm or decline Booking requests but must honour confirmed Bookings and accepted Parcels; cancelling them is governed by Part IV.
A Driver may set up a weekly schedule for recurring Trips; the Platform publishes those Trips automatically. The Driver must complete each scheduled Trip or cancel it in time, skip dates that are not needed, or pause the schedule; a Trip published from a schedule is governed by Part IV like any other Trip. The Platform publishes scheduled Trips up to 7 days ahead. It pauses the schedule automatically and notifies the Driver when the Driver or the vehicle can no longer publish Trips (for example, while the vehicle is back in review or a required document has expired), and it skips dates on which publishing is restricted under Section 4.3.
A Passenger books free seats on a published Trip through the App, until 15 minutes before departure. A Booking takes effect once the Driver confirms it; a request the Driver has not confirmed by 15 minutes before departure is cancelled automatically and the Passenger is notified. The Price of a Booking does not change after the Driver confirms it.
If the Driver offers pickup, the Passenger may set a pickup point. The pickup fee is calculated by the App, not by the Driver, from the estimated distance between the pickup point and the centre of the Trip's departure city: currently 15,000 som within 10 km, plus 1,500 som for each further kilometre, rounded to the nearest 1,000 som. The fee is charged once per Booking, whatever the number of seats, is shown to the Passenger before the request is sent, and is added to the Price. RideUz may change these rates for future Bookings; the rates in force are shown in the App.
The Passenger must be ready at the pickup point at the agreed time. Once the Driver marks arrival, they wait at least 2 minutes for the Passenger; what happens next is set out in Section 4.4.
When a Trip can start. A Driver starts a Trip in the App from 1 hour before the stated departure time (from 6 hours before, if accepted Parcels still have to be collected) and no later than 2 hours after it. If the Driver starts early, the Trip's departure time becomes the moment it was actually started.
One Trip at a time. Only one Trip per profile can be in progress at a time, and its live location is taken only from the phone that started it. Until it ends, the Driver cannot publish a new Trip or accept Parcel requests for other Trips.
Reminders. For a Trip with a confirmed Booking or accepted Parcel, the App reminds the Driver the evening before, about 1 hour before departure, and 30 minutes after departure if the Trip has not been started. Reminders are a courtesy; not receiving one does not change the Driver's obligations.
Missed Trip. If a Trip with at least one confirmed Booking or accepted Parcel is not started within 2 hours after its departure time, the Platform closes it as missed: confirmed Bookings are closed as a Driver no-show, accepted Parcels are recorded as not collected through the Driver's fault, and every Passenger and Sender is notified. A missed Trip is counted under Section 4.3.
Trip nobody booked. If a Trip has no confirmed Booking or accepted Parcel 2 hours after its departure time, the App asks the Driver once whether to cancel it or publish it again. If the Driver does nothing, the Trip is closed automatically at 09:00 (Tashkent time) the next day. This is not counted under Section 4.3.
Trips found in a search are listed by departure hour. Within the same hour, Trips of Drivers with fewer counted cancellations (including missed Trips) in the last 30 days come first, then those of Drivers with a higher rating, then the earlier departure time.
Price and Payment
The App does not currently accept payments. The Price is shown in the App in advance and paid by the Passenger or Sender directly to the Driver in cash or another method they agree on. RideUz is not a party to these payments, does not receive or hold funds, and is not responsible for payment disputes between Users. If RideUz introduces in-app payment methods in the future, it will give notice in advance.
The per-seat price is set by the Driver. When a Driver creates a Trip, the App may suggest a per-seat price based on the Driver's own recent price on the route, the prices of recently booked Trips on the route or between the same regions, or the road distance (currently 700 som per km for the first 300 km and 200 som per km after that). The suggestion is guidance only, and the Driver may change it within the limits the App allows (currently 1,000 to 1,000,000 som per seat). The pickup fee is calculated by the App under Section 2.4. The Price is shown in the App before booking and paid directly to the Driver under Section 3.1.
For a Parcel, the App calculates a suggested price and a minimum price from the distance and the Parcel's size and category; the Sender may offer any price not lower than the minimum shown, and may raise the offer until a Driver accepts the request. The Driver accepts or declines the offer. There is currently no pickup fee for Parcels, including when the Driver collects the Parcel from the Sender's address.
Demanding more than the Price confirmed in the App is prohibited; report any such case through the App.
Commission means a fee calculated as a percentage of the Price, applied mainly to Parcel delivery. RideUz does not currently charge any commission: the Driver receives the full Price paid by Passengers and Senders. RideUz will not charge Drivers any commission for use of the Platform until 31 December 2028, 23:59:59 (Uzbekistan Standard Time, UTC+5). After that date, RideUz may begin charging Drivers a commission, in a manner disclosed in the App in advance. Any such future commission will be stated exclusive of any tax owed by the Driver on their own income, which remains solely the Driver's responsibility as described in Section 8.3. This clause does not apply to the Service Fee described in Section 3.4.
The Service Fee is a fixed, recurring payment for the right to use the Platform (the App), regardless of the type of Trip, and — unlike commission — does not depend on the value of any particular Trip. In addition to the commission-free period described in Section 3.3, a fixed service fee of 20,000 (twenty thousand) Uzbekistani som applies to each Driver, charged once per calendar month, starting from 1 May 2027. The service fee may be paid through the Click, Payme, or Uzum Bank mobile applications, or any other payment method later made available in the App. The service fee is stated exclusive of any tax owed by the Driver on their own income, which remains solely the Driver's responsibility as described in Section 8.3.
Cancellations and No-Shows
No money is charged for cancelling. A Passenger may cancel a Booking through the App:
- a Booking the Driver has not yet confirmed — free;
- a confirmed Booking at least 2 hours before departure, if the Driver has not yet set off to pick the Passenger up — free;
- after that — as a late cancellation, which is counted under Section 4.3.
A Booking cannot be cancelled once the Trip has started.
A Driver may cancel a Trip, as follows:
- if there are no confirmed Bookings or accepted Parcels, cancelling is free and not counted; people with pending requests are notified;
- if there are confirmed Bookings or Parcels, a reason must be given and each participant is notified with that reason; if less than 24 hours remain before departure, the cancellation is counted;
- if a passenger or parcel is already in the car (a Passenger booked without pickup counts as in the car from the moment the Driver starts the Trip), the Trip can only be stopped because of a vehicle breakdown or an emergency, and this is always counted.
Counted cancellations, including missed Trips (Section 2.5), are shown to Passengers and place the Driver's Trips lower in search results (Section 2.6).
What counts. For a Passenger — a late cancellation under Section 4.1. For a Driver — cancelling a Trip that has a confirmed Booking or Parcel less than 24 hours before departure, stopping a Trip while a passenger or parcel is in the car, and a missed Trip under Section 2.5.
What never counts. Cancelling an unconfirmed Booking; cancelling a Trip nobody has been confirmed on; a Passenger cancelling 2 hours or more, or a Driver 24 hours or more, before departure; Trips and Bookings closed by RideUz or the system (for example, an expired Booking request or a Trip nobody booked), except a missed Trip, which always counts.
The 30-day window. Each counted cancellation stays on record for 30 days from the moment it happens and then drops off automatically. This is not a calendar month: every day, the last 30 days are counted.
The restriction. If a third counted cancellation happens within any 30 days, then from that moment: a Driver cannot publish new Trips for 7 days (Trips already published go ahead, and the weekly schedule skips those days); a Passenger cannot make new Bookings for 30 days. The restriction ends automatically when its period is over.
Shown in advance. Before you cancel, the App shows whether this cancellation will be counted, your current count (for example, "2 / 3 · 30 days"), and whether the next one would lead to a restriction.
Who sees it. The number of a Driver's counted cancellations in the last 30 days is shown to Passengers on the Trip page; the number of a Passenger's late cancellations is shown to the Driver in the Booking request.
Example. A Driver makes counted cancellations on 1, 10, and 20 October. From 20 to 27 October they cannot publish new Trips. On 31 October the 1 October cancellation drops off and the count falls to 2.
If the Passenger has not arrived 2 minutes after the Driver marks arrival at the pickup point, the Driver may mark them as a no-show; the Booking is then cancelled. If the Driver does not start the Trip within 2 hours after departure, the Booking is closed automatically as a Driver no-show and the Passenger is notified (Section 2.5). If the Driver does not arrive at the pickup point, the Passenger can report it in the App 10 minutes after the Driver set off, or 30 minutes after departure if the Driver never set off; RideUz reviews the case. No-shows are recorded on the profile and, if repeated, may lead to restrictions under Section 1.11. If a Sender does not show up, Section 5.5 applies.
Parcels
A Parcel is sent by posting a Parcel request in the App: the route, the time window for handing the Parcel over, its category, size, description and a photo, the Recipient's details, and the offered Price. The Sender confirms that the Parcel contains no prohibited items (Section 5.2), states its category, size, and contents correctly, agrees to it being photographed when handed to the Driver, and packs it securely.
The App offers the request to Drivers whose Trips follow the route (including Trips to the whole destination region) and who collect Parcels during the Sender's window. Drivers collect Parcels from 6 hours until 1 hour before their Trip's departure and are notified during that period. The App re-checks open requests regularly and tells the Sender when Drivers have been notified, if no Driver has accepted the request shortly before the window opens, and when the request expires unaccepted at the end of the window.
A Parcel is confirmed once a Driver accepts the request; a Driver can carry up to 3 Parcels per Trip. The Sender can cancel a Parcel through the App free of charge, without it being counted, before it is collected.
It is prohibited to send cash, securities, weapons and ammunition, narcotic and psychotropic substances, explosive, flammable, toxic, or otherwise dangerous substances, live animals, perishable food (unless the Driver agrees), and any item whose circulation is prohibited or restricted by law. A Driver may refuse a suspicious Parcel.
The Sender enters the Recipient's name and phone number and confirms they have the Recipient's consent to do so. If the Recipient has a RideUz profile with that phone number, they see the Parcel and its delivery code in the App and receive notifications about it, including when it is delivered. The Sender can also share a Parcel tracking link with the Recipient; the link shows the Parcel's status but never the delivery code, and stops working 48 hours after the Trip's departure or when the Sender withdraws it. The delivery code should be told to the Driver only when collecting the Parcel.
When accepting a Parcel, the Driver checks that it matches the description and photographs it in the App; if it does not match, the Driver records this in the App or refuses the Parcel. The Parcel is handed over only against the delivery code given by the Recipient. If a Parcel cannot be delivered, the Driver records the reason in the App. After 5 incorrect codes, code entry is locked and the Driver contacts the Recipient or records that the Parcel could not be delivered. The Driver is responsible for keeping the Parcel safe until it is handed over. If the Trip is missed (Section 2.5), an accepted Parcel is recorded as not collected through the Driver's fault and the Sender is notified.
If the Driver has arrived at the pickup point and the set waiting time has passed, the Driver may mark the Sender as a no-show; repeated cases are recorded on the Sender's profile and may lead to restrictions.
The Sender submits a claim about a delivered Parcel through the App within 72 hours of delivery. RideUz helps the parties communicate but is not liable for loss of or damage to the Parcel; in that case the Driver is liable in accordance with the law.
Ratings, Messages and Disputes
After a Trip or delivery is completed, the participants may rate each other and leave a review. Ratings and reviews must be honest, relevant to the Trip, and free of insults. New Drivers are shown on the Platform with a "New" badge. RideUz may hide reviews that break the rules and may treat attempts to manipulate ratings as a violation under Section 1.11. Cancellation counts are shown under Section 4.3.
The chat between Users is only for communication about a Trip or Parcel; the support chat is for questions to RideUz. Advertising, insults, threats, urging others to arrange things outside the Platform, and sharing other people's data are prohibited. You can block another User and report a message; RideUz may review reported messages to check safety and compliance with the rules.
After a Trip, you can report a lost item (within 7 days of the end of the Trip) or submit a dispute about the Trip's price or quality through the App, with a photo if needed. RideUz helps the parties communicate but does not decide disputes between them. Parcel claims are governed by Section 5.6.
Safety
RideUz encourages all Users to act safely and lawfully, provides in-app safety features (such as trip sharing, driver/passenger identity display, and an emergency assistance function), and conducts reasonable verification of Drivers at registration. However, because RideUz does not control the conduct of independent Drivers or Passengers, does not supervise Trips in person, and is not present at the time or place of any Trip, RideUz cannot guarantee the safety, legality, or conduct of any User. Users interact with each other and arrange Trips at their own risk and are strongly encouraged to take reasonable personal safety precautions and to use available in-app safety tools.
During a Trip, the "SOS" button sends the Trip details and your current location to RideUz safety staff; it does not replace calling the emergency numbers (102, 103, 112) — if you are in danger, call those numbers first. A Passenger can share the Trip status with family and friends via a link. Female Passengers can use search filters that show only Trips with a female Driver or with a woman passenger on board.
Drivers must operate their vehicle safely and in compliance with all applicable traffic and road-safety laws; must not operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs; must not discriminate against Passengers on any unlawful ground; must treat Passengers, their property, and other road users with respect; and must maintain their vehicle in a clean and safe condition. Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of the Driver's account under Section 1.11.
Passengers must not carry prohibited, hazardous, or illegal items; must not damage, soil, or misuse a Driver's vehicle; must treat Drivers with respect and without harassment or discrimination; and must follow reasonable safety instructions given by the Driver. Passengers who cause damage to a vehicle may be charged a reasonable cleaning or repair fee. Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of the Passenger's account under Section 1.11.
Additional Terms for Drivers
Drivers provide transportation and/or delivery services as independent, self-employed service providers operating their own business, and not as employees, workers, agents, partners, or representatives of RideUz. Drivers determine, at their sole discretion, when and whether to be available on the Platform, which Trip requests to accept or decline, and the routes used to complete a Trip, subject to applicable traffic and safety laws. Drivers are free to offer services through other platforms or by other means. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to establish an employment relationship, and Drivers are not entitled to any employee benefits from RideUz.
Drivers must hold a valid driving license appropriate to the category of vehicle used, valid vehicle registration, and any permits, insurance, or authorizations required by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the transportation or delivery services provided. The vehicle used must be roadworthy, appropriately insured, and maintained in safe operating condition. Drivers must upload accurate copies of required documents to the Platform, keep them current, and promptly notify RideUz of any change in their status, including suspension of a license, lapse of insurance, involvement in an accident, or loss of any required permit. RideUz may suspend a Driver's access to the Platform where required documentation is missing, expired, or found to be invalid.
A Driver can register up to 3 vehicles. When approving a vehicle, RideUz records its class (Standard, Comfort, Comfort+ or Elite), which is shown to Passengers and can be used in search. If the Driver sends a verified vehicle's documents or photos again, the vehicle returns to review and cannot be used for new Trips until it is approved again; Trips already published with it go ahead, and its weekly schedules pause. A power of attorney for a vehicle that is not the Driver's own must be notarised or electronic with a QR code, and must name the Driver and the vehicle. Trips cannot be published while the driving licence on file has expired; the App reminds the Driver 14 and 3 days before a document expires.
From a date announced in the App in advance, a Driver will need an approved, valid passenger transport licence to publish Trips, and a Driver using a vehicle under a power of attorney will need a valid power of attorney on file; without them, new Trips cannot be published and weekly schedules pause.
RideUz does not pay, withhold, calculate, declare, or act as a tax agent in respect of any tax, duty, social security contribution, or other statutory payment owed by a Driver. Each Driver is solely and fully responsible for determining their applicable tax and legal status (including, where required by law, registering as an individual entrepreneur, self-employed person, or other status recognized under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan), and for independently calculating, declaring, reporting, and paying, on time and in full, any and all income tax, social contributions, and other mandatory payments arising from income earned through use of the Platform.
RideUz's role is limited to providing a technology platform that helps Drivers and Passengers find each other; it is not the Driver's employer, tax agent, or accountant, and it assumes no responsibility or liability for a Driver's compliance, or non-compliance, with any tax or other legal or regulatory obligation. Drivers agree to indemnify RideUz against any claim, penalty, fine, or loss arising from a Driver's failure to meet such obligations, and acknowledge that RideUz may be required to share Driver earnings information with competent tax authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan where required by law.
